The Acoustic Metrology VRA system is designed to simplify the process of setting up a Visually Reinforced Audiometry test room. The system is based around custom-designed cabinets and can range from a one to three cabinet set-up.
Each cabinet contains a toy which can be illuminated and animated via a simple switch panel. Switching can be hand or foot operated as required. A selection of toys are available and toys can be interchanged via a plug and socket system.
A low voltage dc power supply is utilised together with electronic switching and LED illumination. This provides greater reliability and safety than a system based upon relays and lamps.
The cabinet interconnecting lead utilises high quality, locking connectrors and patch panel kits can be supplied to allow control of the system from a viewing booth.
AML can also calibrate and provide advice on sound field audiometry equipment.
